WoW Item Upgrades
The most commonly used term for item upgrades is "upping"--are an enchantment and item that can be put on weapons and armor pieces and increase their power. These upgrade items increase the gauge of an item by a certain number of points. Their cost increases with their rarity.
The melee PvP scene is extremely reliant on an optimally rolled version of the armor for its ability reduce weapon damage.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are an essential component of the equipment crafting process. They can improve the stats of an item and make it stronger or weaker, and even give it a bonus effect. They also affect the appearance of the item. Certain upgrades are universal, while others have specific rules for weapons and armor. The wrong upgrade can destroy a great weapon, and may even cause it to become ineffective.
In general you can only upgrade the equipment you have to the level of its most advanced counterpart. This means that you are able to upgrade body armors, helms, gloves and shields to the level of their most elite counterparts. Weapons can be upgraded up to the equivalent of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's ability to deal damage and can reduce its trade value.
You can upgrade an item using flightstones or crests. The amount you pay for each depends on the item's level and slot. Upgrades to a sword, for example will require more flightstones than upgrading an cloak. There are also discounts on the amount of flightstones and crests needed to upgrade an item.
Upgrading an item fills up its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step increases Tier level by one-third. The highest Tier level is Tier 3. Based on the item it will require a different amount of upgrades to reach this level. It is essential to keep in mind that any procedure that could mount a disk should not be run while upgrading. In addition, you need to ensure that the disk being upgraded is not used as a system disk.
Enchantment is a feature which allows you to transform white or Common items into rare or blue ones. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop, located in the Capital District is where you can do this. This method does not add gems or rune slots to the equipment, however, it alters the size of the equipment. It makes the equipment larger by the size two categories smaller. For instance the size of an armored Stormtrooper armor is Medium, and a Blaster Pistol Small.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be applied to any type of equipment. This includes weapons, armor and trinkets. Upgrade components are available through Side Quests or random drops. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and they can overlap with Power-Ups. They can be branching or linear.
Universal Upgrades start when "internal technology" can provide sentient beings new capabilities that they are unlikely to develop naturally. Implants and prostheses are both examples of internal technology. This type of upgrade is not the same as medical internal technology, which aims to restore the capabilities of nature. It is the start of the process that will alter civilizations completely. The universal upgrade is a complicated procedure that can take an extended time to complete. However the process is divided into two classes: full success and partial failure.
Similar to the way that resort upgrades function at Disney and Universal. In the case WDW it is typically due to operational needs like room availability or overbooking. In the case of Universal the reason could be to transfer guests from one resort to another one that is open. This is not intended as an insult, but in the current climate it may be impossible to avoid.
Universal upgrades can be utilized on any kind of equipment. They can also be applied to multiple items at the same time. They are therefore more flexible than other types of upgrade. However, this flexibility can cause problems when upgrading items in a specific gear path, because it increases the value of all pieces in that path.
Prior to performing an upgrade, it is important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the existing application files. After that, you can install the new files using the Get-ChildItem -Recurse or Unblock-File commands. It is also recommended to perform a basic validation against your PSU server to ensure that it is operating properly.
Jewels
Jewels can be added to weapons, armor or accessories. They give varying stat bonuses and other effects based on the gemstone and reagent used to create them. They can be found in Golden Chests and Rift Incursions. They can be bought from a master craftsman for gold or Karma. Jewels can also be crafted at a table for jewelry using one gem and five of the same reagent to create a jewel of greater or lesser tier; this process is identical to upgrading a gemstone using a table for gem crafting.

Jewel levels are determined by the number of modifiers they have. Jewels of higher tiers are more than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect is determined by the jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. Players can make use of luck potions in order to increase their chances of getting better secondary effects.
Jewels can also be added to items with matching sockets as with other upgrade components. For instance, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both offer a boost to strength, however the Garnet Pebble is only able to increase regular hits while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's strong attacks. Jewels can be put in all armor, weapon and accessory slots. They can also be used with some exotic trinkets, or lesser rarity trinkets that need slots.
Like other DM mechanics, gems aid to ensure that items are special to their owners. Jewels provide a variety of upgrade options that allow players to personalize and find the best combination for their needs. They can upgrade their equipment with new gems in the event that they feel that the original set is no longer suitable.
Requirements
The item upgrades in WoW lets players increase the level of their weapons, equipment and trinkets above their current level of item using specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades improve the stats base of the item, and some even come with special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace, which gives players dolphin-like grace while they swim). These upgrades can be obtained by upgrading items or reclaiming them. Different items drop various upgrade components.
The upgrade process can be a bit complicated however, it's a simple process. First, the player picks the item they want to upgrade and then click on the Upgrade button. A window will pop up with the different upgrades available for that item. This window will show the upgrade level, any type of upgrade bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance), and the cost of the upgrade. The upgrade type bonus will be shown below the bar that shows the upgrade level.
If a player chooses to upgrade the item the item will be taken to the NPC who is upgrading, who will explain the procedure for upgrading the item. The player will then need to provide the appropriate currency needed for the upgrade and may be required to supply additional materials when needed. The requirements for this are determined by the level of the item. Weapons have more strict requirements in comparison to armor.
In addition to the required upgrade components, many upgrade recipes have an acceptable materials list. This list lists the other upgrade components can be used on the item, as well as a flag indicating whether that item can be guaranteed to boost or other effect. It is crucial to know because the value of an upgraded item may differ significantly based on the 'extras' it has, with perfectly rolled gear being worth more than those that are not upgraded.
For upgrades that require crests and valorstones, they will be displayed in a separate list beneath the main list. The amount of crests and valorstones required will depend on the level of the item. Weapon upgrades require the most Valorstones.
